Have you heard of shirred eggs? I hadn’t, until I came across this recipe, from Gourmet Magazine. I was looking for an egg dish that would allow the inclusion of the yummy pesto I made the other day, and this was it.
Super easy, adorable presentation—it’s served in the ramekins it’s baked in—and so delicious. Although I’m not sure exactly how to pronounce it, shirred eggs are a new favorite ’round here.
