While I’ve always been the go-to gal for style advice for my friends—and have provided many hours of outfit selection for those out of the state and country, over the phone and via Skype— it hadn’t occurred to me that others might like the chance to have a personal style guide help them to sort through their closet, get them back to basics, and provide suggestions for flattering, fabulous outfits they could actually afford.
So, at the suggestion of my dear friend Jocelyn, I am launching the personal style guide service, Get Gorgeous! with the aim of helping each and every woman find and refine her personal style, easily and affordably.
From a full closet overhaul to a simple personal online shopping errand (you’ve been looking for the perfect simple ballet flat for under $35, but can’t find one anywhere/you need the perfect shoe to go with your Mad Men inspired bridesmaid dress) Get Gorgeous! does it all.
Pricing ranges from $25 (a style shopping errand) — $100 (the whole overhaul enchilada). You can also give the gift of style, via a Gift of Style Certificate. I think this is such a good service to offer. I know that I personally have benefited quite often from your good influence.Do you remember that time you helped me pull an outfit together for my job interview at a local boutique? During the interview they asked me about my interest in the position, and before I could respond they waved a hand over my outfit and said “Clearly you are interested in fashion.” Which, of course, is patently untrue for the most part, but with your excellent help we managed to fool them. And I think you even used items that were already in my collection, but just put them together in a very innovative way! Anyway, I looked great and felt comfortable. So I’m really excited you’re offering this service to others who don’t have the benefit of living near you, or even knowing you personally!Hooray!
